SADA is excited to launch Farm Smarter: Preparing Your Dairy Business for a Changing Climate in the Murraylands.
Over the next 8 months, this practical, discussion-based program will bring Murrayland dairy farmers together for on-farm learning sessions focused on strengthening resilience, improving efficiency, and building climate-ready dairy businesses for the future.
Each month will focus on a key climate-smart topic — from pasture resilience and soil health to emissions management, water efficiency and long-term farm planning, providing practical approaches to build more resilient, climate-ready dairy businesses.
Sessions will include:
-Leading guest speakers sharing the latest research and insights
-Open farmer discussion and peer learning
-Interactive group activities and workshops
-On-farm tours showcasing real climate-smart innovations
Developed in consultation with dairy farmers, the program is shaped by real challenges and practical priorities in the Murrayland region.
Further details, including session dates and topics, will be announced soon.
